Dear Supporter
Yesterday morning Kent County Council voted unanimously to confirm that the Glebe Field is a Village Green. This great decision recognising that our use of the field has been “as of right” for more than twenty years means that we can use and enjoy access without hindrance in perpetuity.
We will send you a full explanation of what has happened and how we move forward a little later but this message is to give you the good news and to invite you to come to the Glebe Field today, Wednesday 20th May, at noon when the Courier would like to take a photograph of happy supporters. Please come yourselves and bring dogs, children, grandchildren, etc. to make a good crowd. The weather forecast looks to be good.
Would you please be kind enough to let us know if you can come by placing a comment below? Sorry about the short notice but the newspaper has a deadline to meet.
Many thanks and all good wishes
Barbara Stafford on behalf of Ed Bates and the “Save the Glebe Field!” Committee.
